  • Do let your Esthetician know if you have experienced difficulties with your waxing treatments in the past.

  • Do use a sun block to protect recently waxed areas. Waxing exfoliates the skin, leaving it more susceptible to sunburn. We recommend avoiding sun & tanning beds for at least 48 hours before and after being waxed.

  • Do leave plenty of time before Special Events or Occasions to allow for any unforeseen breakouts, redness, irritation etc.

  • Do begin gently exfoliating 24 to 48 hours after your visit.

  • Don’t apply moisturizer beforehand.

  • Don’t expose newly waxed areas to the sun, hot tubs, sauna, suntan booths or extreme heat for 24-48 hours; the areas that have been waxed are both sensitive and vulnerable.

  • Don’t apply products that contain harsh ingredients to freshly waxed skin. Applying products such as certain deodorants, alcohol, thick or heavily scented lotions and perfumes can clog pores and cause irritation and ingrown hairs.

  • Don’t wax at least 48 to 72 hours before or after Tanning, Laser Resurfacing or Chemical Peel.

  • Don’t touch a newly waxed area if hands are not clean.

  • Don’t work out after your waxing service. We recommend waiting 24 hours. Friction, sweat, and bacteria can cause unwanted issues.

  • Don’t take a bath, shower instead. Waxed areas shouldn’t be submerged in any type water for 24 to 48 hours.
